She kept saying wanted to go home so was put on a section 3
I had an assessment with the Early Intervention Service and felt the experience was thoughtful and reassuring. The social worker did not jump to conclusions and spent time listening to what I felt was important before offering me his opinion. This is different to the assessments with CAMHS where they ask questions without getting to know you.
My daughter has found aspects of being at Highfield challenging, I think largely due to being so young & away from home. However at the same time she has needed & benefited from the care she has received.
She seems to be improving
every tijme i am reffered to the warneford they promise me treatment plans or support of some sort and it never actually happens, recently i had yet another assessment and they said they would get back to me but they have not, they never do.
The patients, staff and their supporters are all very secretive, go behind your back and never say what they mean and don’t speak the truth and each section whether 2 or 3 lasts a minimum of 2 years which they don’t tell you. If I said to customers I hope they get sectioned or say the same thing to my colleagues and managers my managers would not be impressed nor would they think I was acting in anyone’s best interests.
I wouldn’t give them one star. And in over twenty years not one member of staff nor one ‘patient’ has ever said they want me to be well.
Staff are mostly good at what they are doing but sometimes hard to communicate with
